John Dyckman, Ph.D., has been helping children and adolescents for nearly 30 years. He has a unique understanding of the world view children experience at different stages of their development. His entertaining and hypnotically-based children's stories' use of metaphor helps children learn valuable life skills that they'll use for years to come.

Dr. Dyckman also specializes in group communication issues, helping people figure out how to act more effectively in group settings. In this domain, he specializes in "avoiding scapegoating," so people can move forward in their organization without unnecessary fear. His work in this area is valuable to both employees and employers alike. In 1998, Dr. Dyckman received Kaiser Regional Psychological Society's, "Most Valuable Contribution to Psychology" award for the Vallejo area.
