If you would like to have the preparedness advantage, then Preparing for Uncertainty is sure to excite you.
Life is full of uncertainties. Each day has its share of doubt, worry, and anxiety, whether it includes job interviews, a first date, a new business venture, or welcoming a new member of the family. These situations often lead us to uneasiness and inner tension, which can stand in the way of our best efforts.
Tension blocks creativity, making our responses rigid or clumsy. But it does not have to be this way.
Your unconscious mind can fully prepare you for whatever may happen.
A Relaxing Invitation to Hypnosis, by Dr. Eric Greenleaf, offers a brief hypnotic experience in Dr. Greenleaf's unique style.
Easy, Peaceful Introduction To The Hypnosis World
"Preparing for Uncertainty is an easy, peaceful introduction to the hypnosis world. One is very gradually guided into hypnotic trance and given a series of subtle suggestions about how to deal with the various situations encountered by all of us. I find the CD particularly useful in grounding myself when I am anxious about a specific situation or making an important decision."
- Pat Salony
What a Wonderful CD!
"What a wonderful CD! I had been really stressed out about upcoming surgery...a total mess emotionally. Your CD put me right back on track. It was like a travel guide to serenity. I owe you much. Thank you."
- R.L. Fuentes - Graphic Designer
This hypnosis-based program will enhance your ability to flow with new situations as they arise in your life. You can use this program for specific situations, such as preparation for a medical procedure or a future presentation, or or you can use it to train yourself to handle uncertain situations in your life as a whole.
We are not saying that this program will help you predict the future. Nor are we claiming that you'll be able to change the "energy" of future events just by thinking about them. This CD is decidedly not "new age."
What we are saying is that our program can help you maximize your ability to handle new and uncertain situations by using your entire brain to prepare for them.
The powerful hypnosis techniques in this two-session program will help you relax and guide you to a state of hypnotic trance. Your subconscious mind will open to empowering ideas and stories designed to help you develop your own best way to handle uncertain events. Dr. Greenleaf's relaxing style will help you organically create healthy and effective metaphors.
You'll to begin to use your entire mind in ways that will help you face unpredictable new situations.
Respond To Life's Stressful Events In Your Own Way
"Eric Greenleaf shows you how to turn anxiety about change and uncertainty into calm curiosity about what the future may bring, and a feeling of flexible preparedness for anything. This trance builds your confidence that you will be able to respond to life's stressful events in your own way, using your own strengths."
- Judith Z. Gold - Attorney
Led Me To My Own Courage
"With Eric's caring and skillful support I was able to face precarious retina surgery on my sighted eye. His steadying voice led me to my own courage in a profound and lasting way. Eric is an affirming spirit, a poet, and a mensch."
- Marcelline Krafchick, Ph.D. - Professor Emerita, Cal-State University, Hayward

Do not listen to any sessions while driving or while engaged in any activity that requires your attention.
The Hypnosis Network takes great pride in our programs. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Hypnosis Network CD programs are very powerful, but are NOT a substitute for therapy. As with any self-help modality, you may not achieve the desired result.
Can I be hypnotized? What if I'm "resistant"?
People of average intelligence (unless there is some form of organic brain damage) can be hypnotized in most cases if they are willing and do not resist.
The depth of hypnosis varies with a person's ability to respond. If you are not a naturally responsive subject, you can improve your receptivity to hypnosis with practice.
If you are totally resistant to the intent of the program you are considering, then it's not for you. You can't use hypnosis if you don't want to, because no one can hypnotize you against your will.
How should I use this program for maximum effectiveness?
A comfortable chair is the best place to listen, although a couch will also work. If you are listening to these in bed, for the first cycle it will be best if you do not go into a deep sleep unless so stated by the hypnosis session itself. After the first cycle, you may use the sessions before bedtime (they make great sleep aids). Do not try to listen at your computer - experience shows that it won't work.
These sessions work best when you are undisturbed and comfortable. Please make sure your phone ringer is off and that you will not be disturbed for a 25-minute period. Headphones are OK, but are not necessary.
Listen to only one session a day - the introduction does not count as a session. The sessions are incremental and should be listened to in the order presented on the CDs. We do recommend that you repeat each session at least four times before moving on to the next session. You will find that the programs will be the most effective if you listen at least 5 days a week for a minimum of three weeks . . . changing behavior is not going to happen overnight.
Once you have listened to all the sessions in order, we suggest that you go back and re-listen to the sessions that you find most relevant. The listening order can now be mixed.
If you have multiple programs from The Hypnosis Network, please complete each program separately and completely before moving on to another one.
How do I know if it is working? How will I know if I am actually hypnotized while listening to the sessions?
The experience of hypnosis is different for everyone. For many people, hypnosis is much like reading a good book. You are absorbed, but are still aware of your environment and your internal dialogue.
The depth of the trance has no effect on your results. The best way to notice if the hypnosis is working is to notice your decisions during the day surrounding food and exercise. Gradually, it will be easier and easier to make the right decisions.
Can I listen while sleeping?
It is not a good idea to listen to the hypnosis sessions while lying down to go to bed. If you fall asleep, the sessions will not be effective. A great time to listen is in the morning when you wake up, or in the evening when you get home from work.
Will the program work if I fall asleep while I'm listening?
Probably not, but sometimes hypnosis is confused with sleep. If you wake up at the end of each session, then you were in a deep trance and were not asleep - which is excellent! If you wake up hours later, then you were asleep and the session will not be effective.
What if I stay completely aware during the hypnosis session?
The hypnosis sessions on these CDs are pretty light, meaning that it is not like the movies. You're not going to become a zombie.
Some people experience the sessions in the way you would experience a great work of fiction. You are totally absorbed, but are aware of the outside world. Other people (usually if they are tired or really need the relaxation) get so absorbed that they do not remember listening to the session. Either way, you will get results. The results are not tied to "going under," but instead are tied to the focusing.
Can I listen while driving?
Absolutely not. Never listen to a hypnosis session while driving or engaged in any activity that requires your attention. Please listen in a quiet place where you will be undisturbed, without operating a vehicle or any dangerous machinery.
