I received the CDs in October and I love them - I have lost 16 pounds steadily.

My mind wanders while listening but I do not believe this is a factor as it has been pretty easy to follow the suggestions I choose to follow.

Hypnosis is not at all what I expected. I expected to be out like a zombie in the movies and just be 'programmed.'

Instead, it is like I have more control while listening. I just listen to her suggestions and then choose whether I am going to accept or modify or not - it is a very nice feeling finally being able to keep commitments to myself.

I have over 20 more pounds to lose and will update.

I agree with Betty, I just got these in 5 days ago and it was not my vision of what hypnosis was. It is very empowering - I am aware the whole time as opposed to being knocked out like you see on T.V. It is not like being "programmed" at all. At first I was disappointed, but then I thought about it and I am not a robot!!!!!

I don't understand how, but whatever I decide to go with in the sessions is easy to follow the next day in every day life. It is like I finally have self control. I think most of us can relate to telling yourself one thing and then doing another, with these I am actually doing whatever I tell myself I am going to do - at least for now.

I am finally able to do what I tell myself I should do. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Sorry to break the string, but this has been an amazing month for me using these CDs and being OP. I have lost 6 pounds and this was through Christmas! The best thing is how relaxed I have been about food.

I stopped listening on the 15th of November because I was getting results and wanted to find out if I would need them for my new habits to stick. I have since lost an additional 8 pounds in last 3 weeks without having to resort to the CDs for reinforcement. So I would say that the changes stick (at least for me).

I do sometimes want to listen because I like the relaxing effect - but I am still testing!

it has been almost two months since I began the program and about 3 weeks since I stopped. I am so happy that the program helped me through Halloween and Thanksgiving...A MIRACLE!!!!

I have lost 8 pounds so far and do not want to go back.

Christmas is always so stressful, I might listen to some sessions to get me through the weekend. What sessions do people here find the most helpful?

It has now been 2 and a half months and I am down 22 pounds. Christmas like Thanksgiving was so much easier this year both in controlling my eating and my stress levels.

Anyone else have Dr. Roberta pop into their heads during the day?

I was getting into the car after work one day contemplating what I could eat before dinner - I was starving!

And I distinctly heard, "Water helps you wait!"

Got my entire bottle down on the way home and didn't need a snack, after all.

My W W days go back to the 70's so you know I've been around a while. I bought the CD's and started using them the day after Christmas. By 1/26/06 I have lost 8 lbs.

They must be working because I don't crave sweets and I am a candyholic. I have not had any nibbles or snacks between meals. If I have the points available I may have a cup of cocoa and/or a brownie bran muffin later in the evening. No ice cream, no licking the spoon and no nibbles of any kind. I'm finding this very easy to stay on program.

I am down four more pounds in the last two weeks making my total a little over 10 pounds in the six weeks using the CDs.

I have been through them all now multiple times and my favorites are both on CD3:

"Avoiding Temptation" is amazing and the 2nd track "Exercising Regularly" has really worked (I now walk with weights every day except for Sunday).

These are all I listen to now - I am very curious what sessions other people find most effective?

On another note, I mentioned the CDs at my last meeting and also got in trouble - it is hard to understand why these are not embraced by WW.

Looks like CD3 is the winner.

I listen to the "avoiding temptation" session once a week and sometimes before special events. The exercise session has made it so I am even exercising this winter (it is very cold but this time I am motivated!!!)

I think all of the sessions were necessary to go through but these are the ones I now go back to. I have been steadily losing weight since I started listening months ago and am more confident than ever that this time it will last.

I’m still working the WW program and the cds are major support system. I find them so relaxing and I feel so good after each session.
